The easiest slopes are usually marked with a green circle and have small decline. (In Europe the slopes for beginners may also be marked with a blue colour). It is never too late to start!

For intermediate skiers – These slopes are commonly marked with a blue square and are well groomed because they are among the most heavily trafficked ones. (In Europe an intermediate ski runs can be marked with a red colour as well.)

The Black Diamond trails may or may not be groomed, since tend to be steep, can be narrow, exposed to winds and may contain other obstacles. (In Europe these ski runs are marked in black as well, however, sometimes an orange colour can be used.)
