Situation in Israel: Due to breakout of war situation in Israel and potential increasing risks to the safety, as well as uncertain development of the situation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of LR strongly recommends to evaluate necessity to travel to Israel. The citizens of Latvia residing in the territory of Israel are encouraged to follow development of the situation and observe all recommendations of local security services.
Situation in Ukraine: The Civil Aviation Agency (CAA) announces a ban on all airlines registered in Latvia to operate in the airspace of Ukraine, as well as in the airspace of Russia closer than 180 kilometers from Russia and Ukraine border. Holiday operators' charter flights and scheduled air passenger services are carried out in compliance with all security regulations without crossing Ukrainian airspace.
