Arrive to Buenos Aires and take your day to see the city, the most interesting places and regions of the city like the bohemian San Telmo, modern Recoleta with the labyrinth-like cemetery, Palermo, and try the local cuisine in restaurant while enjoying tango performances.
You will go to Salta on the next day. Check out the scenic Quebrada de las Conchas to Cafayate, the High Mountain Archaeology museum, and enjoy local cuisine. Then have an optional visit to nearby ruins, the Valley of the Moon, or rent a mountain bike at San Pedro de Atacama. Ascend into the mountains and cross into Bolivia by bus. There you will have a three day 4x4 excursion to the Salar de Uyuni and surrounding desert Altiplano with spectacular scenery. Have an optional excursion to working silver mine, free time to explore the city and visit museum of Casa de la Moneda. You can take excursion to the nearby dinosaur tracks, explore the city, have an optional hiking or mountain biking in Sucre on the next day. Have an overnight bus to La Paz on the closing part of the tour and enjoy the city – visit its cathedrals and churches, the Sagarnaga Street, where you can buy excellent souvenirs, and, of course, the Witch Market, where fortune-telling and magic spells await, and the witchery and amulets are available.
