During this trip you will lean the history of Egypt, its culture, people and, of course, the archaeology. The land of the giant statues, temples and legendary pyramids is waiting for you to have a home-made meal with local family, a trip down the Nile River, wonderful overnight trip in a felucca, night in a camp under the stars and old cities.
The adventure will start from Cairo with a guided tour of the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, and visit of Egyptian Museum. Take an overnight sleeper train to Aswan and visit Nubian village and enjoy a home-cooked dinner with the locals. Go felucca overnight sailing trip and optionally visit the temples of Abu Simbel. Then go felucca overnight sailing trip. Visit temples Edfu and Kom Ombo in Luxor and take a donkey ride and guided tour of the Valley of the Kings and Temple of Hatshepsut. Optionally visit the Temple of Karnak and Luxor Museum.
Then head through the desert to the Dakhla Oasis. Visit the fascinating old village of Al-Qasr before camping out overnight amongst the spectacular rock formations of the White Desert. The next morning head off to Bahariya Oasis, and take an optional visit to the Golden Mummies, English Mountain, which got its name owing to the British troops to use it as the reconnaissance point to conquer the area, and the hot springs. Ride jeeps through the desert to Siwa Oasis the next day. Bike to the Mountain of the Dead and the Temple of the Oracle and take a dip in Cleopatra's bath or travel by donkey cart for a desert sunset. The next two days promise unforgettable adventure in Alexandria to take a guided tour of Catacombs, Greco-Roman Museum, Pompey's Pillar and Qaitbay Fort. In the final part of the tour you will return to Cairo.
