Your adventure will start in the north of New Zealand, by visiting Wellington. Try to get there as early as possible to have time to visit the National Museum and to see historic artefacts of Maori, to explore the suburb of Miramar, which is located on peninsula, or to visit Weta Workshops – the Special FX design and manufacturing studio, which has created images for different TV shows and movies, including the famous Lord of the Rings, Avatar, King Kong, and many other. Then transfer to the south of New Zealand and visit the Abel Tasman National Park to explore the golden beaches and waterways. Continue with Punakaiki to see black-sand beaches, to visit a seal colony and to take in the Pancake Rock that really reminds piles of pancakes by its shape. Head to the Franz Josef glacier and enjoy an overnight stay in a lodge surrounded by rainforest. Hike along the glacier located in the area listed as the UNESCO World Heritage on the next day. Stop for a lunch at the lakeside town of Wanaka before continuing the way to the adventure capital of the world - Queenstown. Take a chance to spend your time with some of the adrenaline-filled options, such as jet boating, bungee jumping, mountain biking, sky diving, or a vineyard tour. Visit the Fiordland National Park en route to the Doubtful Sound fiord, and have a guided kayak excursion before overnighting in a lodge surrounded by jaw-dropping scenery and wildlife. Then travel to Central Otago - famous and the most southern vineyards region and goldmines city, and go the rail trail from one historic town to another, sampling local food along the way. Enjoy a free afternoon in Christchurch after all these active adventures and explore the city. On the next day you will go to Kaikoura - small town by the ocean, where you will stay for a night and may go on Whale watching, swimming with dolphins or have mountain hikes. On the closing part of the tour you will return to Wellington.
