Learn the China's culture and discover the treasures of nature starting your trip from Peking or Beijing as locals call it. Arrive to the city and enjoy free evening. Then take two days to visit the Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City, the Tiananmen Square, and the cypresses embraced Temple of Heaven. Check out an optional Shaolin Monk Kung Fu Show or the Beijing Acrobats performance. Then take a night train to Xi'an. "Meet" an impressive Terracotta Worriers - the army located in the tombs of the despotic Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang, and consisting of over 7000 worriers, the horses and even the weapons, guarding the emperor. Take an option to explore the ancient city walls. Then catch a night train to Shanghai. It is one of the wold's most exotic cities, where the eastern culture and the old rituals have sophistically interlocked with the style of western life and the understanding of comfort. Shanghai is reasonably deemed the shopping paradise. In the next two days in the city take an advantage to visit the beautiful Yuyuan Gardens, which are over 400 years old, or stroll on the city streets and try local dishes.
Then have another train to Guilin and transfer to the town of Yangshuo. This no doubt is one of the favorite spots for both, the tourists and the locals, as it offers plenty of activities and is very scenic. Give in for a cooking class or tai chi, try calligraphy and painting, rock climbing, or do some shopping and go for a walk. Take a chance to watch the Light and Sound show. On the ninth day of the tour enjoy a full day cycle ride through the countryside with a local guide and visit a local farmer's home for a delicious local lunch. Take an option to climb up the Moon Hill for spectacular views. Return to Guilin and take an overnight train to Shenzhen. Cross the border of Guanduna province and into Hong Kong - the city of bright skyscrapers. Before the tour ends have a free day and an overnight stay in the city. It is worth to stay longer there - climb the Victoria Peak, visit the local Disneyland, the Ocean World, or Madame Tussauds Wax figure museum, for instance.
